Louis Hurst

I loved reading about Senators (old and new) and merging that information into my brain with other information about them. It was fun finding out who was grouchy, mean or just plain dumb. We elect these people and place them upon pedestals... this book reminds you that they are all human beings just like us.
Nice photographs. Nice index.. one could just use the index to look up Senators one is acquainted with and find out what Louis Hurst thought of them.(Louis Hurst was in charge of the Senate restaurant for over 15 years, and these are his recollections.)
