With Elmore Leonard type characters and a whole lot of action, this authors debut novel was quite an enjoyable book.
It takes place in West Virginia and has a spunky female sheriff, whose mother owns a strip club and also is a major drug dealer. Add in a very large militia looking to right some wrongs and and a corruption probe being conducted on the sheriff herself, and you have a very enjoyable story!
