In general, I don't care for short stories. In this case, the series of stories hang together and constitute a sequence which together adds up to a novel-like conclusion.This was my introduction to author Jordan's books. He offers it as a free download from his web site. Other books are sold directly from the site.

A bunch of preachy short stories. Given, my view of the author is biased by my passing acquaintance with him on some online forums, but this just seemed very heavy handed.
