Dr. Martin Seligman, the father of positive psychology, focused, not on behavior that was dysfunctional, but on happiness and behaviors linked to effective stress management. Christopher Kaczor's discussion of proportionalism is one of a the very few balanced presentations of this approach and its history. If you have ever been frustrated at ethical approaches which don't seem to have defined "object" consistently, read this to find out why. For all who (like me) are a bit intimidated by Rhonheimer, this book will help you get your head around what Aristotle's "practical reason" really is.
