Great read. Brought back so many memories. Some great stories, anecdotes and wisecracks. Great hard-driving characters like Angus Mackay, Peter Dimmock, Paul Fox, Brian Cowgill, Sam Chisholm, Vic Wakeling and Jimmy Hill. What a variety of backgrounds they came from and went to; Kent Walton, Dickie Davies, Frank Bough. Great pen pictures of Wolstenhome, Coleman, Motson and Barry Davies, and their rivalries. High pressure but seems they had great fun. The early days seemed hair-raising and crazy; key moments curtailed for Children's Hour! Only thing missing are photographs of the icons; none at all.
