I enjoyed this sword and sorcery tale that reads somewhat like a western cowboy story. The heroes and heroine were fun to identify with and I liked that they were not superpeople. Good read. Suitable for all ages.

So this appears to be a prequel novella and I will go out on a limb and say it might be possible to go the series itself first. But why would ya, eh? This seems like a good set-up to a main story-line. I enjoyed the technology, the descriptions sound so possible! The way the ships worked sound precisely like something humanity will some day be able to make.
