Verlyn Klinkenborg's regular column, The Rural Life, is one of the most read and beloved in the New York Times. His work has appeared in numerous periodicals including, The New Yorker, Harper's Magazine, and Esquire. Klinkenborg holds a Ph.D. from Princeton University.
