First edition - Paper Back. Two perceptive, haunting novellas about women and loneliness - one about old age, the other about alcoholism. Published in trade paperback format and a small number of hard bound library copies (no ISBN for hardcover)
To preface my specific commments about this book. I freely accept that this is what it is...a Quickie. And being such it is short and there's not enough words for character development.
Even so, this felt too short for me. I enjoyed it (hence the star rating) but I just felt that this was a particular interlude that could have been great if it had had the chance to expand into something longer.
