“Billboard Cop” by Linde Lakes was a surprise. I thought the synopsis of the story, a cop named York Wylinski buying a billboard advertising for a wife had a different slant and made me want to find out why he had to resort to putting search out there for all to see. Jen Lyman, as a reporter, thought the same thing obviously. She decided to answer the ad and find out what kind of man this was. She waited by the post office box and was rewarded with seeing just who this person was. They set up a meeting and she revealed her true occupation. That meeting did not go too well. However, Jen was also on the trail of a killer; one who was taunting her with threatening messages. The messages were becoming more aggressive so her boss called in a police officer friend. Yes, it was York Wylinski. This is when the story became difficult to put down. I was hooked on this book and the story line. There were a few suspects, and I was always on the edge of my chair when reading this, trying to determine just who wanted Jen out of the way.

I think you will find this thriller a very good read. I could not wait to scroll to the next page and find out what happens next. This was that way throughout the whole novel. Treat yourself to a wonderful experience. Read this book.

I received a free Kindle copy of this book for my honest review from the publisher. The opinions expressed here are my own.
