Cacti de Oliver Leese
This is a decent intro to cacti & succulents, with a strong emphasis on describing / displaying the actual habitats in which each main kind of cactus / succulent lives. It really makes one want to dust off the ol' passport and do some desert trekking. The black & white photos are well-selected, but somewhat grainy, and b&w photos don't do these plants justice. So I would say stick with a color book about cacti, or any plants for that matter.
