One of the best Luftwaffe biographies of a noted ace fighter pilot,Hptm Helmut Lipfert who scored 203 aerial victories, predominantly Soviet but also with B-17s and a P-51. A superb pilot he details the ups and downs of the Jadgwaffe on the Eastern Front. in a diary form. Though most of his victories were over Russian aircraft, he also claimed B-17s and P-51s.
Some good photographs are also present in this volume.
