A good example of biography because it gives true accounts of Theodore Seuss Geisel's life from his birth in 1904 in Massachusetts, through his upbringing and influences, to his works and finally ending with his death in 1991. It is interesting to read about who Dr. Seuss was growing up, enjoying the animals at the zoo, meeting his wife at college, and then writing and illustrating books that are funny and enjoyable to read. Since this is an informational book, it does not contain the same elements of literature as others, and the plot of Dr. Seuss's life does indeed follow the genre of biography, since it tells the true story of his life.
