Anthea Malcolm

Livia Neville and Nicholas Warwick's story. Disappointing. There is little build-up or indication of their regard, other than one or two out of the blue mental declarations, so the end is completely unbelievable. Works better if the reader's expectations are for a romp and an adventure rather than a romance.

Nicola and Charles Windham's story. Cousins, they go after Charles' fiancee Jane, but find themselves embroiled in a series of switches involving the di Tassio ring and a young girl named Verity.

Arranged marriage b/t woman with ties to Russian family. He goes to Russia to retrieve what he believes is firstborn son by secret marriage.

Very "historical" feel.

Good writing, but series of big misunderstandings.
