The cover of this book is a beauty. Of course that's what caught my eye. But the inside was great too.

The first half of the story was about the MC's getting to know each other. The whole story didn't last longer than a week. Cyrus and Nate started falling in love with each other in the span of 3 days maybe, but I wouldn't call it instalove either. It was deeper than that. Oh, and they weren't mates either. I really loved how Cy wanted to help Nate (cause he was bound to a wheelchair), but didn't want to overwhelm him. And despite Nate's limitations, he was fierce, and headstrong, and he knew what he wanted.

It was interesting to see the family dynamics on both sides. I mean, who has a stepfather, who wants to play World of Warcraft with his 24 year old stepson?! That was so cool. :D And Cy's family (pack), was so fragile, due to circumstances. They were all pulling apart, and all of them wanted different things they couldn't have.

Nate and Cy were already in too deep, when the shit hit the fan. The action was incredibly detailed. And I loved that too. Weber (the bad guy) was a bit too crazy for me, and I have a nagging suspicion about him, about who he is. I hope we'll find out.

I admit that I had a hard time with this story, I stopped several times, but it was probably my fault, cause I'm still hung up on a great book, I've read recently. And I'm glad I didn't give up, cause it was really good. There were some typos, but it didn't really bother me. And I hope this story continues maybe with Emily and Lacy? (that would be my first girl on girl love story) or Emily and Roman? I'm unsure of that, I could imagine both possibilities. :)… (més)
