Book for any age middle school and below. Knowledgeable book to read to kids so they learn only the facts about different races.

This is a short and picture-less book about what racism is. Font color and style adds a visual element to the strait foreword content. I would use as one of a few books that deal with racism, or maybe as a preface for upper elementary before reading a chapter book that includes racism.

This beautiful book teaches children about racism but in a way they can understand through the little use of words and simple illustrations. In this book racism is represented in different forms such as lines, words and pictures. I would recommend this book to K - 2nd graders because of the format of the book. At this age, a book like this would be easy to understand and follow along with.

Very basic picture book with no illustrations. Explains racism to children in a friendly matter, addressing the important topics but keeping it kid friendly.

I'm not sure if I would use this book in a classroom setting unless it was asked of me. I would probably use this book when I have children of my own at home so we can have a discussion and talk it through. I think it's a very important book! Just probably not for the classroom.
