Somehow unexciting.

Additional Remarks, 2023:
I checked this book out again and realized that what you need to do is to scan this book rapidly for the kernel of an idea, e.g., a material or technique that will work for your own idea. For that, it is not so bad. It's just that the illustrations are muddy black and white photographs and that everything is a recipe. If the author had gotten an illustrator and more help with the writing this could have been an excellent book.
