A fast paced love story where the girl, Emily, is "of Earth" and the guy, Alexander, is "of Eden". Alexander is Emily's Guardian, not to be confused with guardian angel, even though that's what he appeared to be to me, who just happens to fall in love with her. A little sappy in parts, but not to the point of gagging me. After the battle good guys 1, bad guys 0, with one bad guy dead. I would have liked to known a little bit about the battle, outside the house, aftermath, other than a brief mention of it was cleaned up. A nice twist on good versus evil, with the cliffhanger ending, so you will just have to read the next book.

Is it just me (quite possibly) but is there a parallel in the names between Emily (Eve) and Alexander (Adam) and the Garden of Eden?… (més)

When a books description alone is as powerful as this one is, its hard to imagine it can be anything less than incredible. I have my heart set on this one!________________________________________________________I was fortunate enough to win this book in a good reads giveaway, so thank you good reads! On to my review:This book was excellent! As you can see, I was very excited to read it before I even had my hands on it, and I was not let down. The writing style did seem a bit awkward at first, but as the passion of the story grew, the author found her rhythm, and then the story flowed beautifully. All of the characters were brilliantly crafted and enjoyable to read about. The love story was interesting, and the twists kept me glued to the cover. Surprisingly, my favorite character was Aldera, who wasn't even a main character, but brought so much to the story. I'm so glad I had the opportunity to enjoy this story and plan on waiting anxiously for the next one!… (més)
