This is a monumental feat considering the subject matter -- labile, shifting, often entirely theoretical or representational, and understood by no one. Unabashedly Freudian, although the Introduction acknowledges the fact (continuously asserted by Freud himself) that Freud's theories were in statu nascendi, and constantly being revised.
Although it is already "dated" -- there is no "bi-polar", "enabler", or "gestalt" -- the accessibility of the terms almost brings one to tears, or to some other appropriate "Somatization". Very useful.… (més)
