12 very short reports of true crime (mostly murders) from the 1980s. The crimes described are fairly standard fare and also ones that you may have read/heard about before, but aren’t necessarily the best-known murders of the ‘80s. Each report is 8-12 pages long, which is too short to go into much detail, and descriptions are fairly surface level. It’s a book about true crime that’s as breezy as it can be while talking about gruesome murders and violent rapes. The main downfall is its poor writing, inconsistent style, and lack of proofreading, all of which made it much more difficult to read than it should have been.… (més)

As a huge fan of true crime, I found True Crime Storytime Volume 7: 12 Disturbing True Crime Stories to Keep You Up All Night to be a great read. I was intrigued with many stories. Some I have heard of and some I have not. I was captivated from start to end.

I am giving True Crime Storytime Volume 7: 12 Disturbing True Crime Stories to Keep You Up All Night five stars and highly recommend it.
