Clandestino Complete Collection de Amancay Nahuelpan

I wasn’t into this one. I wasn’t into the protagonists nine lives, it felt drawn out and over-done in terms of dialogue. I think it should have ended about 1/2 way in when the antagonist found them. So no spoilers I won’t put what happened but after that scene I just followed through since that is what I’m asked to do to read these ARC copies. Wouldn’t recommend this one.

Crush & Lobo de Mariko Tamaki

I've never been a big fan of Lobo and was only vaguely aware that he had a daughter, but I gave this a try to see if it was one of Mariko Tamaki's superhero hits or misses. It's another miss.

Crush herself seems like she might be fun to hang with, but we have eight padded-out issues of her getting involved in her father's most recent prison break and having to track him across space to bring him back. All the while she mopes about her crumbling relationship with a nice girl back on Earth who doesn't deserve all the crap Crush sends her way.

It's all suppose to be funny with hijinks and snarky narration, but I was just bored out of my skull.… (més)
