Tradeback edition consisting of excerpts from Robert Osborne's book "Academy Awards Illustrated". Osborne issued several revisions of this volume. I have identified copyrights of 1969, 1971, 1972 and 1980; there are probably others as well.

Grabbed this as I walked past a display at the library; not sure why, to be honest, as I've only ever watched one Oscars ceremony in my life and it was just last year. Damn book weighs more than my coffee table.

The black and white photos are large and fun to look at, including one of each winner in their movie and usually one of them receiving their award. Nice trivia.… (més)
