Tadao Otaki, Professor of Physical Education at the Tokyo University of Education, is an authority on physical education and a specialist in the teaching of Judo. His remarkably fresh teaching methods have the gifted teacher's quality of making difficult problems easy to understand. Prof. Otaki is well known in international Judo circles, especially in the U.S.A., where he has been very influential in the development of U.S. Air Force Judo programs. In his homeland, he has coached and guided many leading Judo experts, including four All-Japan Judo champions.

Donn F. Draeger is one of the highest ranked non-Japanese Judo experts in the world. He is also a professional educator with a long and greatly varied experieence in Judo. Authr of many popular books and article on Judo, Karate, and other Oriental sports, Mr. Draeger now esides in Tokyo, where he is engaged in the study and research of Judo teaching and training technqiues. He is an instructor in the foreign section of the famous Kodokan, and is technical advisor in scientific weight-training methods for both Japanese and foreign Judoists. Like Tadao Otaki, Donn Draeger has been a leading figure in the development of Judo on an international scale.
