Emma Rae Parker

This is a different type of Christmas Story directed, especially, for the L.D.S. audience. It is a very cute tale of a "papa's" relationship with his granddaughter and their fun activities they share. It is, also, a picture story of his way of sharing something that means a lot to him.
The characters were fun and endearing. The illustrations were done in a simple, colorful, comic way by Alexa Terry Hanson. The Book Title and Cover are a perfect fit for the story! It was compiled nicely with a sturdy hardcover.
At first, there was a gap between the opening comment and the rest of the story. Although a delightful tale for little ones, it did not have a very smooth flow from page to page. Still, L.D.S. parents and children are sure to enjoy it! I would recommend it for ages between 5 and 9.
