What a fun approach to learning! As the other reviewers have mentioned, this book aligns with Common Core State Standards (CCSS). I appreciate that the workbook can be used in a way that allows students to set their own goals yet continue to learn how to work in groups. I also appreciate that the introduction includes letters to teachers, parents, and students, and that the letters are not long-winded.
I hope that this type of workbook will make its way into schools around the country.

This is a very well-laid out unit, supporting CCSS as well as fostering a mind-set of critical thinking. Each unit proceeds and builds upon the previous. It worked very well in my classroom.

I like the curriculum contained in this book. It would be nice to have this project (or something like this project) implemented in the local schools in town. This appears to be a good way to encourage students' self-directed learning.
