Railway Magazine

This giveaway with the UK magazine Railway Magazine would be unremarkable - and quite possibly not worth retaining - save for the unfortunate coincidence of its provenance. RM editor Chris Milner wrote in his introduction "At the time of compiling this list in mid-February, some railways had not announced their special events..." Circumstances intervened, and by the end of that month it was clear to nearly everyone (except, perhaps, the British Government) that we were facing a pandemic event the like of which has not been seen for a century.

None of the events listed in this booklet actually took place. The world became a very different place. This booklet is perhaps one of the last gasps of the old order.… (més)
