This is an absolutely beautiful coffee table book chocked full of breathtaking photos of some of Britain's most beautiful estates. The author presents them and the people who live there in an engaging way that is sure to draw the reader in. The way these "modern" aristocrats have kept their massive inheritances in one piece is nothing short of amazing. I did knock off one star for cohesiveness. When you specifically mention some piece of furniture or house feature in the book, you should include a photo. This happened several times over.
