Kim Stanley Robinson was born in Orange County, California on March 23, 1952. He received a B. A. and Ph. D. from the University of California at San Diego and an M. A. from Boston University. His first trilogy of books, Orange County, collectively won a Nebula Award and two Hugo Awards. His other mostra'n més works include the Mars trilogy, 2312, and Aurora. Marte azul de Kim Stanley Robinson

Un bon final per una trilogia hiperrealista sobre la colonització de Mart i la resta d'astres del Sistema Solar. Potser, per buscar algun problema, el final està massa allargassat. En aquest darrer volum, augmenta la poètica i les discussions sobre la vida eterna i sobre l'acció de l'ésser humà damunt del medi.

Marte rojo de Kim Stanley Robinson

Marte rojo és un gran llibre del que podríem anomenar ciència-ficció dura. L'anàlisi de personatges és tant important com la tecnologia present en la història. Tal com diu la contraportada, sembla que l'autor hagués estat en aquest futur no massa llunyà. El desenvolupament de les històries fent servir diferents veus, dóna més profunditat al conjunt. Una lectura recomenable però a l'hora, exigent.
