Molly Anne Rothenberg

I never saw Molly Rothenberg's book coming. But like an 18 wheeler Mac truck, this book has burst onto the scene and it rips a whole in all available theoretical interventions that were trying to say something new and interesting about the Lacan-Zizek-Badiou triumvirate.
This book is an important theoretical intervention for a number of reasons: first and foremost it takes much of what Zizek hints at in his theoretical corpus, and puts some clothes on these bare limbs. Furthermore Rothenberg goes beyond current thinking on the subject and marvelously puts forward a truly groundbreaking thesis that I have only begun to get my head around.
