Even though for the past 2 ½ years, I've been on a journey in trying to be a good Christian woman ever since being inspired to become a Christian blogger after publishing my first two Christian fiction books, my definitive purpose in being a servant to the Lord and sharing His words has never been clear to me. This is despite my feeling more fulfilled than ever before.

As Christians, enduring the challenges we're forced to endure, we can be helped by the biblical verses we find throughout Scripture. The joy we sense is entrenched in who the Lord is in our lives; it's not a short-lived sensation nor contingent on our situations. While our belongings, achievements, and individuals who are part of our existence might be delightful and joyful, the truth is the foundation of all joy emanates from our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.

Perhaps my being a 71-year-old nondenominational Christian woman might have hindered my true purpose for having the relationship I have with the Lord and ascertaining my purpose for my life since I'm somewhat set in my ways. My Christian views of the world around me might have also gotten limited in recent years.

This book by Janet Ruth might be best described as giving me a new set of eyes to see the world with. A new set of eyes that reminds me of the opening lines of Jimmy Cliff's 1972 song, "I Can See Clearly Now":

I can see clearly now the rain is gone
I can see all obstacles in my way
Gone are the dark clouds that had me blind.

I found this endeavor by Janet Ruth to be an informative, transformational, interactive reading experience sure to give a clear insight to her readers regarding their purpose in the Lord’s master plan for the world at large, for which I’m given her the 5 STARS she’s gotten from this rather voracious reviewer of nonfiction Christian books.
