Erica Sherman

This beautiful book was written and illustrated by a twelve year old student, Erica Sherman. It not only provides it's readers with enchanting rhymes about life in the rain forest, but also brings awareness of the harm humans are causing the delicate ecosystem. The fact that this was written by such a young student is impressive enough without the environmental advocacy. Erica obviously knows a lot about the wildlife found in the rain forest and certainly has a talent for sharing her knowledge and passion via poetry. Any child interested in writing or nature would be thrilled to read this book.… (més)
