The book keeps speaking about the past lives of people, but in a superficial kind of way, like, "you fear this because that's what happened in your past life, so, don't be afraid anymore now". It doesn't explain any why or any how, it doesn't help you to get in contact with your subconscious (or your past lives if you believe in it) I don't know, I didn't find it a useful reading, nor an interesting one. The most interesting chapter is at the end, when it speaks briefly about progression, or how to get a glimpse on future lives :) of course, the author is very much keen in selling her CD on regression via meditation..… (més)
The author describes how since childhood she has felt a particular empathy with animals, and understanding of their thoughts and needs. She follows this with anecdotes communicated to her of animals who have displayed extraordinary qualities, of those who have appeared to their owners after death, and of those who have shwn apparently abnormal perceptions of danger, in each case with her own comments and explanations interspersed. A reassuring treasure trove for the open-minded animal lover.

This is a magical and wondrous 146 page spirit based adventure story for young readers in the 6-16 age bracket, but I must say I fell right in love with this darling little read myself. The authors had a unique and descriptive style that just won me over from the first page, and then when the plot twists and they started getting into talking ants with attitudes my appetite became ravenous and I just couldn't wait to devour the whole book as quickly as possible.
There were a lot more characters and exciting exploits besides the ant, and I could see myself in each one of them too. My favorite part was at the end when choices had to be made about who was coming home and the scene on the bridge was priceless. I would recommend this enthusiastic and enlightening read to anyone, but especially to young minds that are searching for spiritual answers. Thanks, Jenny and Tony for this terrific treat.
