I accidently read this book without reading the other two, and had no idea who the characters were because it's been years since I've even looked at a dragonlance novel, but I was pleased with it. One of the main characters is LBGT which was a pleasant suprise, and handled fairly well. Her struggle was a sidestory going on with the main plot but it didn't detract from the book as a whole and I felt enriched the character.

The Alien Sea is about a sea elf named Apoletta and how she is trying to save the ocean and her husband. The fantasy book is the second of the Champions series in Dragon Lance. Dragon Lance is one of the worlds created for the Dungeons and Dragons role playing game.

As a clan, it really shouldn't make sense. Mystic sorcery, transhumanism, body horror, feudalism, religious fanaticism, manners, and ridiculously old school vampire weaknesses just don't go together. And yet, they do. There's room for a wide variety of characters that all still fit the 'Tizimisce' template. Its a clan with more flexibility than what's obvious at first glance. Its also a clan that will punish players who are too rigid or uncreative.
They need to import the clan into V5, stat.… (més)
