Lyle Spatz is the former longtime chairman of the Society for American Baseball Research's Baseball Records Committee and the author of numerous baseball books, including Historical Dictionary of Baseball (2012) and Willie Keeler. From the Playgrounds of Brooklyn to the Hall of Fame (2015), both mostra'n més published by Rowman Littlefield.
