This is a fictional account about the engineering, planning and building of a spaceship enterprise based on the experience and knowledge of the authors. It is not great fiction as there is very little character development. But it is a great primer on systems engineering as it applies to rockets from some veterans of the aerospace industry. I would not be surprised if some of today's space entrepreneurs found some useful guidance here. It is also an account of how the American aerospace industry works. And how NASA, the US Government and the old aerospace companies have combined to set back development of space by decades. The last few chapters are visionary. I would recommend this book to space advocates, but it’s not a great read for those not so inclined.… (més)
