Living in Conscious Harmony, by Sullins Stuart shocked me in a good way. When I started reading it, I wondered if I would gain anything from his book. I was hopeful that I would, and right away I realized that I will.

Living in Conscious Harmony is a book written to be a guide to living a better life, emotionally and spiritually. Stuart writes the book from a Christian point of view but does incorporate key elements of other religions to show you how his thoughts and ideas are not bound by a single religion but encompass them all.
As I read through the book I realized that this was not a “Self Help Book,” but more a less a guide or reference to living life, not allowing your ego to control you and becoming who you actually are. Stuart does a nice job giving you a roadmap to follow, but as he points out in the book, it is up to you to make the decision to become “Awake.”

I thought the book was well written. Stuart wrote it in a manner that makes you feel like he is having a conversation with you, not lecturing or preaching. This made it a lot more enjoyable to read. Stuart comes right out and says his thoughts; he is consistently very straight forward throughout the book. I did enjoy at times when he gave examples of some ideas and thoughts of his. I also felt that I would have benefited from more of the examples throughout the book.

I would recommend this book for anyone who at times questions their life, happiness, or has fears about anything, big or small. Stuart knows how to handle all of these and gives you good ways of to process what is actually going on and enjoy the world that is around you at that moment. This is definitely a book that I will keep around to reference and re-read parts of.
