This book gives detailed routing of the underground railroad with some references to individuals and homes in certain areas. Some of the references to the way riders went from one location to another seem a bit off. There is at least one wrong name of a township in Chester County. It will serve as a reference work or at least a staring point for researchif needed.

Surprised by the intricacy of the underground network. With pictures of the paths taken, and letters written at the time, this book provided me profound insight. Thank you.
