"Exodus is the second book written by God's great leader Moses. The book's title means "road out." Exodus records the departure of God's people from their slavery in Egypt and the beginning of their journey to the Promised Land. In the third month of that journey, Moses and the people came to Mount Sinai, where God gave them his law." -- written on the back of the book.

Wenland is a delightful book about Central Africa. “Its twenty-five chapters, commemorating incidentally the silver anniversary of the Lutheran Church of Central Africa, are based on actual letters.” “This book, together with Missionary Wendland’s earlier works, To Africa With Love and Of Other Gods and Other Spirits, make up a sort of “Central African trilogy.” Collectively they give us stateside Christians some appreciation of the frustrations and joys of preaching the Gospel in a typical mission field.” This book can be found on the library shelves under the number 266/WEN… (més)
