I really wanted to like this book, and possibly be, even slightly, enlightened by it. I didn't, and I wasn't. The usual class vs class rhetoric. Keep walking, there's nothing original to see here.

What Works for Women at Work: Four Patterns Working… de Joan C. Williams

Recommended read for every working woman (and man). It was quite painful but enlightening to see your feelings validated on paper, and what to do about those problems that are effecting your career progression as a woman.

White working class de Joan Williams

Figured I'd take a look to see if I might be placed in this class. It seems to be a lot of anecdotes and opinions of what makes up this group. I could relate to a few chapters but some seemed to be filler for this short read. In any case, it was worth looking at what makes up many of the folks who voted for our president and some issues that might be addressed to decrease the polarization in our country.
