Pat Winter's chronicle of Prince Madoc's journey from Wales to what is now North America is absorbing and detailed. One imagines she researched the languages and customs of the various native American nations in the story. Although there is no absolute proof of Madoc's adventure, it is very much accepted in Wales that he did reach the new world.
