Okay, so this really isn't a book you "read". And yet it is. Quotes from favorite horror stories precede each recipe. Bartending basics are included at the beginning of the book. The recipes themselves are probably about good enough to turn anyone into an alcoholic (please don't do that… drink responsibly). It was hard to not immediately make each one to try as I was reading it off the page. I suppose it was lucky for my liver that my liquor cabinet is running a bit dry. Also included are drinking games, and ways to combine RPG games into drinking games as well.

I highly suggest getting yourself a copy of this book and enjoying the consumption of the cocktails it contains (Again, enjoy responsibly).

I don't always drink, but when I do it's a cocktail (or a margarita). And boy howdy does this book have some amazing cocktails! I'm very excited to try some of these when I get the chance. Some of the concoctions look disgusting, but sometimes that's the point. I got the eBook version, and I'm seriously considering purchasing the print version. It's such a beautiful book! The only thing that bothers me is that I can't tell if all the images are supposed to be black and white, or if some of them, at least, were supposed to be in color. It'd be very helpful (and visually appealing) if the photos with drinks in them had color. That's a minor complaint, though. Since this is a blasphemous book, it makes sense that everything would be dark.
