The time has never been right…until it is…or maybe it is…or perhaps it could be if only…

What I liked:
* Aroha Wihongi: hard working, loves her family, caring, trained child carer, works in a beauty salon, grew up in a loving though not-wealthy family, has been attracted to James since she first saw
* James Rutherford: wealthy, family life not easy in spite of money, brilliant, started a company with his friends, has noticed Aroha for awhile but time was never right, suddenly left with his niece
* The way the characters from previous books, and their partners, step up to help and provide support to both main characters – always fun to see them again
* The way that the relationship develops between Aroha and James
* That both Aroha and James were against having biological children – kind of wonder if that will change or not
* The way James changed and grew through the story
* Watching Aroha’s calm help center James
* The thoughtful handling of issues like postpartum depression, chronic depression, assault, and grief
* James’s ability to see so clearly what will help others while being a bit clueless at times
* The setting, plot, pacing, and writing
* That I liked and cared about the characters and wanted them to find their HEA together

What I didn’t like:
* Who and what I was meant not to like

Would I read more in this series? Definitely

Mistletoe and the Billionaire Boss by Serenity Woods

I love this author’s stories and look forward to reading the new ones when they come out. This one was a delight ~ I absolutely loved it!

What I liked:
* Alex Winters: wealthy, brilliant, attractive, healthy libido, dry sense of humor, good friend, loves his siblings, knows what he wants and knows he want Mistletoe
* Mistletoe “Missie” Macbeth: widow, primary school teacher, devoted mother of Finn, positive and upbeat, needs to time to deal with feelings and grieve, a perfect match for Alex
* Finn: eleven, suffered spinal cord injury in the auto accident when his father died, taken into a new program by Alex’s company that will strengthen him and potentially see him walking again
* That the story made me feel and care and hope for the best for all three of the main characters
* The open, honest, mature communication between the three main characters
* The support Missie’s mother and deceased father provided
* How well-suited Alex and Missie were to one another in so many ways
* The wedding of Damon and Belle and getting to see so many of the billionaires who have had their stories and catch up with the ones that are still waiting for theirs to be written
* The smile on my face when I finished the book

What I didn’t like:
* Who and what I was meant not to like – mostly that would be Missie’s deceased husband
* Knowing how difficult spinal cord injuries can be as I worked in neurosurgical intensive care and also with a number of neurologically disabled mentally alert people in a skilled nursing facility. I really felt for Finn and his mother

Sizzling steamy romance with the perfect couple to end up together!

What I liked:
* Damon Chevalier: billionaire, in business with his brothers Kip & Saxon, protective, caring, kind, has a bit of PTSD from a childhood event, has a soft spot for women, smart, artistic, brilliant, open, giving, and perfect for and with Belle
* Michelle “Belle” Winters: studying law, has a sideline she prefers to studying law, from a broken home, bright, a bit magical, beautiful inside and outside, a bit naïve, dealing with difficult event in her past, wise, caring, an old soul that is perfect with and for Damon
* The way Michelle received the nickname Belle
* The open honest communication between Damon and Belle – so healthy and good for both of them
* Belle’s siblings: Gaby marrying Tyson and Alex sometimes known as Oscar the grump – both siblings are there for Belle and one another
* Getting to see how Damon’s brothers and their women are doing
* All of it really…every single bit of it from beginning to end :)
* Knowing that there is a new series that will follow soon and being eager to read what happens with Alex and the others that work with him

What I didn’t like:
* Who and what I was meant not to like
* Thinking about how selfish some people in a couple can be…and how difficult it is to be open and honest in relationships

Did I enjoy this book? Yes
Would I read more by this author? Definitely!

Alice and the Billionaire Boss by Serenity Woods

Loved it ~ couldn’t put it down once I started reading because I *had* to find out how it all would work out! Every book I have read by this author has been wonderful!

What I liked:
* Alice: reminded me of myself at 25…and being in the same virginal boat even though I had dated a LOT more than Alice had! Kind, caring, protective, family oriented, responsible, knowledgeable but naïve, forthright, honest, a delight, really liked her
* Kip: a knight in shining armor, problem solver, alpha, billionaire, identical twin, gentle, kind, caring, “sweet”, good friend, kind, brilliant, responsible, definitely drawn to Alice
* Charlie: Alice’s younger sister, university student, loves her mother and sister, has a dilemma to deal with at the end of the story
* Penelope: Alice & Charlie’s mother, has MS, requires full-time care, feels she is a burden, positive person with periods of depression, wants a happy normal life for her daughters, feels she is an obstacle, liked her
* The allusions to Alice in Wonderland
* Learning more of both main characters’ backstories
* The first night that Kip and Alice spent together – it would be wonderful if all first times were like that
* Getting to see how Kip’s family is doing
* The dialogue and relationship between Kip and Alice – it made me smile :)
* The way everything is eventually resolved for a HEA
* Wondering who Damon will end up with in the next book of the series

What I didn’t like:
* Thinking about the difficulties and stresses that chronic illness places on the ill and their caregiving family members
* The friction caused by Craig at work and the impact it had on more than one person in his life

Did I enjoy this book? Yes
Would I read more in this series? Definitely
