U of Va. Book Share: English Lit.

This group identifies the personal libraries of those associated with the University of Virginia's English Department who are willing, in some circumstances, to lend books to one another. Being a member doesn't mean you'll lend any book to anyone in the group, it just means that you'd like to support our community's need for research materials by lending it to some people, sometimes, within reasonable limits.

Being a member means other members will ask you if they can borrow a book sometimes. You can always say no.

Created in March 2020 as a way to help English Languages and Literature graduate students get the research materials they need to continue working during the pandemic.

If you see a book that interests you, write to the person whose library it is and see if they'll let you borrow it and how to proceed while remaining socially distant.
