la meva bibliotecaThe Biblioteca Comarcal de Blanes, as public library aims to provide key tools to help meet the needs of information, education and leisure for all people, and become a space for interaction and sociability, a center of access to local information about entertainment and cultural promotion of culture. The library is attached to the Department of Blanes Personal Services of the City. This department also handles other areas related to local culture and leisure.

The Library District Blanes was inaugurated in 2003 by the architects and Artigues Sanabria. It consists of 1815 square meters of distribution over three floors, 142 reading points and has a collection of 57,673 documents (data from 31 December 2010).
