- Lots of school books, lots of satire. Love Vonnegut, love Pynchon, love Brautigan, Kesey, DeLillo, Hemingway (though I think he's a prick). As far as school stuff, I love Freire, Giroux, hooks, Ayers, Macedo. I also enjoy sociological issues in both fiction and nonfiction form. Many of the books I have yet to read, although I get excited just thinking about them.

- I like people, food, animals. Furthermore, I'm a teacher of different things. Currently, I'm developing curriculum for adult literacy. I am a vegan and I enjoy cooking greatly. I live in Austin, though I've just returned from my new second home, Ecuador. I'm very much into self-empowerment through student-centered education, metacognition, and empathy. I also play hockey.
