About My Library
It's mixed. Many of the books are ones I have in my office, some are books I have at home. It's a work in progress. I read science fiction, fantasy, and alternative history for pleasure. Not surprisingly, most of the books in my collection have something to do with my academic interests and work. I also like books of blunders, typos and curiosities (when you have students who tell you the Soviet Union was founded by John Lenin, you need a laugh).
About Me
I read. It is a central part of who I am. Many of the books listed have to do with my work, but by no means all. I'm a political scientist, focused on Latin America and the Caribbean (more the latter than the former), and political theory (and the overlap between political theory and the Caribbean -- there's more than you might think).
