Sobre la meva biblioteca
I'm a relative newcomer to LibraryThing; I have only included books I've read since 2004 (and not all of those). Nothing here so far by Twain, Austen, John Barth, Saul Bellow, or so many others I'm going to have to work on. Mostly what's here is late-model serious fiction, with a little biography (particularly of the American Founding Fathers) mixed in.
Sobre mi
I have had a (lengthy) career in finance, but spent my first college years as an English major. I continue to read avidly, although in the last five years have devoted more time and effort to it. I'm married, live in Colorado, and do financial work in the publishing field. I love modern literature, but I'm glad I can take it up at my own pace. That way I'm left free to consider, write, and visit "LibraryThing" whenever I want. I was gratified recently while answering a poll question about my activities, to find "avid reader" as one of the choices. The pollster seemed to understand that it can take up quite a bit of time.

I also love jazz music in all forms and variants; I enjoy the theater and movies, and otherwise am pretty much a homebody.
