Sobre la meva biblioteca
My library consists of those things that show my interests. I have found that my Christian worldview has become more reformed over the years. I have been very interested in reading the biographies and works of people like J.I. Packer, John Stott, John Piper, John Calvin, Martin Luther, Augustine and others. For fun, I like to read mysteries by writers like Mary Higgins Clark, Dick Frances, and sometimes Patricia Cornwell. Also Dorothea Benten Frank and stories about Charleston since that is my hometown.
Sobre mi
Reading has always been one of my great joys in life. I learned to read before going to school which made me a discipline problem in 1st grade, however, I don't regret knowing how to read at all. As a senior citizen now, I have more time to read what I like, and am reading more Christian books, theology books, along with the Bible and Bible studies. My other big interest is working on my family history, no I am not a Mormon, just a curious Presbyterian. I am a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution and could be a member of several other genealogy societies but just don't want to give up the time from my other interests. I am also a church musician, a retired organist. I do some organ substitute work and teach a little piano, which keeps me busy. I thank God every day for the gift of reading and am glad that all of my grandchildren love to read as well.
