Welcome to the online version of the Piedmont Trails Library! Four large rooms and an attic fashion the reality of space needed to store this collection. Over forty years of researching and collecting define the material. Last count as of January 2023, over 4,000 books, maps, documents, genealogy lineage, ground-work expeditions with colonial settlements, 18th-century roads, and more define the material. To learn more about the contents or request a lookup, please visit Piedmont Trails for more info. The Attic Files contain various documents and materials for each family surname listed, dating from the 17th century to the present. Due to the vast size of these files, the material is not available online. However, you can submit a request lookup and receive information, data, or copies that are relevant to the request. When browsing the Attic Files collection, note the description areas entitled Important Places, Important Events, and People/Characters. These areas will offer more details about the files and their contents. If the description area is blank, check back often. We are in the process of adding the information online in the coming months.
