I write historical fiction. My debut novel, "The Sister Queens" weaves a tale of Marguerite & Eleanor of Provence who became the queens of France and England (NAL/Penguin). My second solo novel, "Medicis Daughter" (Thomas Dunne) tells the story of Marguerite de Valois, youngest daughter of Catherine de Medicis. I've also contributed to two, multi-author, continuity novels: "A Day of Fire"--a novel of Pompeii's last days, hours and minutes--and "Ribbons of Scarlet" (William Morrow)--a novel of the women of the French Revolution.
