About Me

This is the library of Katie and Tanner, a young couple living in Northeastern Wisconsin in a cozy apartment with their 3 cats and 2,000 books.

Tanner is a college-level ESL instructor. He loves sci-fi / fantasy and history, with a focus on 17th century Europe. With degrees in linguistics and English, he has a passion for languages (mainly Spanish, Russian, and German). Other interests include sports (particularly college football and professional WI teams), painting miniatures, and music. He's also hopelessly addicted to podcasts and Duolingo.

Katie has her BA in French, and is a certified high school history teacher. She hopes to eventually become a freelance French translator. She loves modern literary fiction, translated fiction, and Victorian classics. Other interests include interior design, crocheting, and baseball (Go Brewers!). She's also hopelessly addicted to Stardew Valley and Duolingo.
